Clubs in Batumi Series: Garage

On the night of the 8th, I've had the opportunity to visit the nightclub "Garage" with a good buddy of mine. The entry fee is 50 lari, and I must say, I'm not disappointed by the club in the slightest.

Located within a very metropolitan area of town, quite close to the Grand Mall, this club sits within a larger residential / hotel building. Even from a distance, one can feel the heavy bass pulsing within. I'm personally quite fond of club music, but I do always bring along a pair of earplugs, as it tends to prevent hearing damage, while allowing me to have a great night.

Keep in mind, ladies are always available within the establishment, but finding a date might be tough. Nonetheless, there's a lovely atmosphere, with great music, fantastic speakers, and a jolly crowd.

I strongly recommend bringing enough money to cover entrance fees and drinks, as finding a working ATM or exchange is quite difficult at the late hour when the club opens (12AM). Speaking of when the club is open - expect for the music to shut off at around 4:30AM, and for the club to close fully by 5:00AM.

Expect to pay 20 - 30 lari for a drink.

Personally, I really liked this club, and on my next paycheck, I think I might just pay Garage another visit. My recommendation is to arrive with a budget, and to stick to said budget. Have a couple drinks at a nearby grocery store to save a few pennies! Batumi has fantastic apple cider - an alcohol I'm already very fond of.
